In most of the cases we agree with our clients upon contractual remuneration on one of the following basis:

  • time basis that is defined by a specific rate per certain time (mostly an hourly rate is used)
  • remuneration per service (lump sum fee) that is usually paid for one-off transactions (such as preparation of a certain contract or submissions to court)
  • share in the value of a transaction (contingent fee) which can be set up at 25 % of the value at most, according to ethical codex of the Czech Bar Association.

In certain cases also provisions on non-contractual fees set forth in statutory instrument on Remunerations of Attorneys can be used.
